(Art Walk Etsy Team)

This blog is the public site for this team of Etsy Artisans that come together to show off their work in their shop over the First Friday of every month. This is not an event run by Etsy, but rather by the members of an Etsy Team.

On First Friday, there is a main blog post that go live on this blog, which shows off some new items from team members shops. There is a link on that post which goes to the official monthly "Event Discussion Thread" over on Etsy. That thread is where all of our team members participating will link up their items.

You will also find location and theme teams links in that thread which will take you to their Etsy Team page where their team has items from their members listed. So you can shop by theme and location.

Our Etsians have been asked to post up to 4 items from their shops so you can simply scroll down and click on any item that might interest you.

This is fun way to visit with artists and see their new work - always starting fresh over the First Friday (Weekend) of every month.

We also have a page here on our blog full of AWETeam member Etsy Mini's.
These are great little gadgets that Etsy has available to each shop owner to help promote the most recent items from that shop. These are continually updated as new items are listed or renewed.

If you are an Etsy Team Captain or Leader and want to get your team involved:
1. You should join the AWETeam.
2. Create a monthly discussion "First Friday Event" discussion thread for your team by copy and pasting this info (make edits to fit your team):

Our Etsy Team is participating and this thread is where our team members can list up to 4 items per month from their shop to show off their work for the First Friday Art Walk Weekend!

3. Once your team discussion thread is live, copy and paste that thread URL and into the current matching monthly AWETeam discussion thread. If you want to see an example of how to link up your shop, check out the July 2013 AWETeam FFAW Event Thread. Scroll down on page 1 and see how the Delaware Etsy Street Team linked up their team FFAW event thread.

4. Get your team members involved, create challenges and themes if you want. Create treasuries from your team and from other teams participating in First Friday! You have the entire month ahead of this event to get involved and help promote. This is a fun event, and gives shops a goal to work towards. If you have a blog, make sure you write up a post for First Friday (grab the button HERE) and feature some of your team shops!
