First Friday Preparation!

First Friday officially starts tomorrow, August 1, 2014 and goes through Sunday, August 3.

The AWETeam hosts this event monthly so that people selling their work on Etsy.com that have a shop and have joined our TEAM can have a place to go and show off up to 4 items from their shop in our monthly "Event Thread".

Meet Some Team Members via Treasuries

Our AWETeam (Art Walk Etsy Team) has been gaining a lot of new members in 2013, and one perk about being on an Etsy team, is the excitement when your items featured in a team treasury!

An Etsy Treasury is a curated collection of items based around a certain "theme" or "team".

Etsy has some guidelines in place for creating them.

First Friday Art Walk Starts Friday!

This next Friday, March 1 starts First Friday Art Walk Weekend here on the AWETeam blog.

The week leading up to First Friday is traditionally the busiest week for preparations for First Friday as it is really "crunch time".

We have a handful of AWETeam members that make treasuries consistently, but this week, many others step up and add team treasuries which at times can seem like an explosion of art through these team member curated collections...
