Art Gallery Opening: Allegory Gallery in Ligonier, PA

You can find some pretty amazing art galleries and small shops all over the world.

Today, May 10, 2014 Allegory Gallery in Ligonier, PA is opening its new shop and hosting a reception for the First Ligioner Art Walk.

If you take a look at the Ligioner Art Walk Facebook page, you can see that there are a lot of events going on during the art walk, which is from 10-7 on Saturday. The participating galleries host the Artist Receptions from 4-7pm. Check back to see if this will be a continuing event throughout the year, and make plans to head out to Ligonier one month to enjoy this art filled day! 

This town is full of history and it's art and community scene is growing. Definitely worth a weekend trip to head out there and spend the weekend taking in all of the events, go bike riding on their many bike trails, do some relaxing, enjoy some great food and just spend time finding yourself. Shirleah Kelly New Works by Shirleah Kelly at Allegory Gallery (May 2014)

At Allegory Gallery their Artis reception will be new photographs by Shirleah Kelly, which will focus on the theme of hands. This will be Shirleah's second solo show at Allegory Gallery.

Jane West to perform at Allegory Gallery 4-5pm May 10, 2014

The 4-7pm Artist reception at Allegory Gallery kicks off from 4-5pm with a performance by local musician Jane West.
